Flight Check-in
Each airline sets its own rules regarding the start and end times of check-in. In most cases, check-in begins 2 hours before the flight departure and ends 40 minutes before the flight. Be sure to specify these times when booking your ticket. In the event of a delay in check-in, the airline reserves the right to use your seat as it sees fit.
If you are late for check-in, the future fate of your ticket will depend entirely on the fare you purchased it for. In most airlines, first and business class tickets can be rebooked for another date without penalty. If you purchased the ticket at the cheapest or discounted fare, then the ticket is simply canceled. However, some airlines allow you to rebook even such tickets. In this case, of course, you will have to pay an additional fee.
Documents
You can get official information about documents at the consulate of the country you are flying to. The passenger is responsible for the proper preparation of documents, compliance with all laws, orders, and regulations of the state authorities of the country where the transportation will be carried out or through which it will pass. When traveling by air, do not forget to take with you a foreign passport and visa (if you are traveling outside the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan) or an identity card (in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan), a paper or electronic air ticket (route receipt) and other documents necessary for entering/exiting the country.
