Flights during pregnancy

Flights during pregnancy - Prohibitions, Childbirth, Acquisition of Citizenship.
Airline rules may change. We recommend that you clarify all the details before flying.
The World Health Organization recommends refusing to fly in three cases:
- If less than 7 days have passed since giving birth.
- If the pregnancy is more than 36 weeks.
- If the pregnancy is complicated.
✔ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW/BRING IN ADVANCE
One of the recommendations is to wear compression stockings.
When boarding the plane, you should take a document with all the information about the pregnancy with you.
Also, be sure to take a medicine kit and pillows for a comfortable position.
A child born on board can have 3 types of citizenship:
- Citizenship of the country where the plane landed.
- Citizenship of the country to which the plane belongs.
- Citizenship of the country over which the plane was flying at the time of birth.
A nice bonus – some airlines give the child the right to fly for free.
But this is not a mandatory condition. In such cases, restrictions are often imposed. For example, it is possible to make a certain number of flights or fly only until the child reaches adulthood.
