What should you know before buying a ticket?

There are several myths that many people know are not true, but most believe them. Now I will debunk these myths, read carefully.
1) Special days:
• In fact, there are no special days on the calendar when tickets become even cheaper. The best time to book flights depends on the season, demand and destination.
• Air tickets are seasonal. This means that demand for a given direction (and ticket prices) can change at different times of the year.
• But to get a ticket at a more affordable price...
You will save more if you buy your ticket according to the season.
✔ Winter - 2.5 months (~70 days) in advance
✔ Summer - three months (~90 days) in advance
✔ Summer - the earlier you buy, the better. 2 months (60 days) in advance
✔ Autumn – 2.5 months (~75 days) in advance
2) Search as much as you want:
It is believed that the more often you search for tickets to one destination, the more expensive the ticket price becomes.
This is not true: we analyzed thousands of cases where users made more than 10 identical search queries within 10 minutes, and in 97% of cases the ticket price remained unchanged.
3) Direct does not always mean “more expensive”:
There is a perception that flying with transfers over long distances is always more profitable than a direct flight.
This is not always true - for example, direct tickets on international flights are $50-100 cheaper, depending on the destination. Keep this in mind the next time you are looking for flights to a distant destination.
4) “Cheap” hours:
There are no hours when tickets are the cheapest.
Having analyzed more than 1 million searches, we found no correlation between time and the minimum ticket price.
5) Don't rush to throw away your iPhone:
There's a misconception that iPhone owners are being charged some kind of hidden tax on airfare.
In fact, the price of the same ticket will remain the same when searching on an iPhone or Android. So, the model and operating system of the phone do not affect the price of flights.
