Why do airline tickets become more expensive?

Passengers may encounter an interesting phenomenon when booking airline tickets for two or more people. For example: if you are looking for a ticket for one traveler, the price of the ticket is 100 AZN, and for two it is 200 AZN, but not 300 AZN.
It's all due to the presence of flaws in the reservation systems. This situation applies to both low-cost airlines and traditional airlines. For example: if there is only one ticket left in the system for 100 AZN, and the price of the next ticket is 150 AZN, the system will simultaneously calculate two tickets at a higher rate. Therefore, in the end you will see a price of 300 AZN, not 250 AZN (100 AZN + 150 AZN).
In such a situation, to save money, you need to book airline tickets separately.
Therefore, before booking a ticket for several people, always check how much it costs for one passenger.
If you are booking for three or more people, check the price of one ticket first, then all three. If the base price per person does not increase, book flights for everyone at once.
By the way, some airlines and ticket search engines can increase ticket prices if you search frequently. To “reset” the markup, you need to log in from another device or in incognito browser mode
